The Foundation of The Arc of Northern Virginia can act as a personal advocate and supporter for our Special Needs Trust (SNT) clients. During an initial consultation, our Advocate works one-on-one with Beneficiaries and their representatives to identify key issues or goals, including but not limited to, receiving a housing voucher, finding a job, securing health care, obtaining social security benefits, or simply having another resource in one’s support network for the future.
Based on this information, our Advocate works with Beneficiaries and their representatives to create advocacy plans to achieve these goals, including arranging services, reaching out to government programs such as Social Security and Medicaid, providing referrals, and/or visiting and meeting with Beneficiaries.
Advocate Program services are provided on a fee-for-service basis. Our experienced Advocate lightens the workload of families and families by stepping in to support Beneficiaries when support is needed.
If you have any questions, or would like to schedule a 15 minute phone consultation to discuss potential services, please feel free to contact or Advocate at (703) 208 1119 Ext. 120 or at firstname.lastname@example.org. For additional information about our Advocate Program , please click here.
