DESCRIPTION:The Arc of Greater Prince William (INSIGHT) and Prince William County Parent Resource Center invite you to attend a very special workshop\, “Futures Planning” with Tia Marsili! \n  \nWhen: Wednesday\, March 4\, 2020\, 7 – 8:30 p.m. \nWhere:  The Arc of Greater Prince William/Muriel Humphrey Center\, Training Room 2 \n13505 Hillendale Drive\, Woodbridge\, VA 22193 \n  \nPlanning ahead is necessary when wanting to support a person with an intellectual or developmental disability (I/DD) to lead a good life as independently as possible. A plan is important throughout all stages of life\, especially in the future when the parent is no longer able to provide help and advocate.  Join Tia Marsili\, Director of Trusts at Arc of Northern Virginia\, to better understand the varying parts of the whole picture and how to plan systematically for your loved one’s future. Included in the presentation will be special needs trusts\, ABLE accounts\, guardianship and alternatives\, and more.  Ample time will be provided for your questions. \n  \nThere is no charge to attend; however\, pre-registration is required and limited to 60. \nTo pre-register\, contact Jan Russell at jrussell@arcgpw.org or 703-730-3124. \n  \nParking at The Arc is limited.
