DESCRIPTION:Staff from The Arc of Northern Virginia’s Special Needs Trust program will be at the Family and Youth Summit. \nThe focus of the Summit is to promote parent and youth voice through knowledge\, skills\, and networking. Our speakers and workshops are selected in partnership with a parent and caregiver planning committee and youth and young adult planning committee to maximize opportunities to gather resources on mental health\, services and supports\, the latest trends\, and leadership development. \nThis summit is aimed at parents (of children\, youth\, and/or young adults with mental health needs)\, youth and/or young adults who have lived experience with mental health needs\, family members\, individuals living with mental illness\, professionals (including mental health providers)\, public policy decision makers\, community leaders and all others interested in children and youth mental health needs. \nRegister here. \nFollow us on our Summit webpage for up-to-date information.
