Ms. Miorini focuses her practice on domestic and international estate planning\, probate\, trust administration and related tax matters\, elder law and Veterans’ Benefits. Her practice emphasizes the human element and seeks to foster long term family stability and efficient governance as well as providing wealth preservation and tax planning. \nYahne Miorini is the founder of Miorini Law PLLC\, handling all new clients matters from estate planning\, probate and trust administration\, special needs planning\, senior’s protection including asset protection trusts\, Medicaid planning\, senior housing issues\, government and VA benefits. \nMs. Miorini is past President of VAELA\, the Virginia Chapter of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys (NAELA). She has served as the chair of the Elder Law Estate Section of the Fairfax Bar Association\, past co-chair of the Wills\, Trusts\, and Estates Section of the Fairfax Bar Association and was named Pro Bono Lawyer of the Year in 2006 by the Fairfax Bar Association. She was past treasurer of the McLean Estate Planning Council. Additionally\, she was President of the Comité Tricolore (non-profit organization dedicated to helping French Citizens in the Washington\, DC metropolitan area). Ms. Miorini received an award from the French Government for her public services (Chevalier de l’Ordre national du mérite). \nMs. Miorini is licensed in D.C.\, Maryland\, Virginia\, and New York. She has over 20 years of experience.
