FFFP – July 7, 2023 – Protecting Senior Assets with a Senior Protection Trust (via ZOOM)

July 7, 2023 @ 10:00 am - 11:30 am

Presented by Yahne Miorini, principal at Miorini Law PLLC

While a living revocable trust can avoid probate and organize wealth transfers, the Senior Assets Protections Trust goes further to protect against nursing home exorbitant costs and senior scams. This option can be attractive to seniors because it can help shield assets while still providing for them to qualify for government benefits such as Medicaid. Establishing a trust like this can support an effective strategy for long-term care planning, but what do you need to know to establish this type of trust for a senior with disabilities under your care?

Join Yahne Miorini for this informative session and learn more about the options for future financial planning and senior care. Ms. Miorini focuses her practice on domestic and international estate planning, probate, trust administration and related tax matters, elder law and Veterans’ Benefits. Her practice emphasizes the human element and seeks to foster long term family stability and efficient governance as well as providing wealth preservation and tax planning.
