FFFP – June 2, 2023 – Financial Planning Under Unique Circumstances
June 2 @ 10:00 am - 11:30 pm
Presented by Cortney Heykoop, Clover Leaf Wealth Strategies, LLC and Tia Marsili, Trust Director at The Arc of Northern Virgina
Planning for the financial future for your child with a disability is crucial, and it is also one of the most personal experiences a parent can have. It’s not just about planning for the future; it’s planning for a future that you as a parent won’t always be around to help with. The circumstances of your family’s needs may be unusual and require a specialized approach.
In this session, we’ll explore not just how to plan for that financial future with a Special Needs Trust with The Arc of Northern Virginia, but also the personal steps you can take to make the process one you can trust. We’ll look at the process with an eye towards creating trusting relationships with all the parties involved in establishing and maintaining a Special Needs Trust for your loved one.

Cortney, a Chartered Special Needs Consultant, works daily to be that trusted advisor and resource for the families she works with and the community at large.
