What is a Special Needs Trust?  Should my child have two trusts?  How does the Survivor Benefit Plan play into the futures planning for my disabled dependent?

For military families with individuals with disabilities, the unique challenges presented by disability are compounded by the complexities and requirements of military life. Planning for long-term medical and independent life choices present challenges and can create anxiety for families. A Special Needs Trust can provide solutions to those future challenges for military families. The first of our three-part series introduces the details and benefits of the Special Needs Trust for military dependents.

Attendees will learn how Special Needs Trusts work and how they can benefit military families as they navigate the challenges of future planning for their loved ones with disabilities.
